<div class="IPBDescription">Mods! omgomgomg</div> <a href='http://www.nytimes.com/2003/12/04/technology/circuits/04modd.html?pagewanted=1&th' target='_blank'>NY Times Link</a>
The esteemed "New York Times" Technology section has done a story about PC game mod-making. It basically discusses how game-makers are releasing their own tools to us fans and how it helps both the mod-makers for fun and the main game itself for brand loyalty.
People who make mods often go on into the Big Business, and engines that usually cost hundreds of thousands of dollars are now, basically, open; which is all cool.
I'm so glad mods are getting the attention it deserves (deserves!, darnit!)
