Sensory for me should is the best chamber to get first with DC a quick second. If you hold walk you can walk around pretty much silent but most importantly, your invisible <!--emo&:)--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/smile.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='smile.gif'><!--endemo--> You don't need high level armour when you attack marines to survive because the marines won't even get a shot off if your usign your head.
Also sensory is a very scary thing to know the aliens have as a marine. If i knew the aliens have sensory i get very worried about entering rooms and am always very cautious and as such our progress is slowed down a lot. Also if you've got owned in an area before my a cloaked skulk a lot of marines will be reluctant to go back down there and repeat the process which can make a lot of areas effectively off limits.
Sure a scanner sweep can balls it up entirely but comms don't scanner sweep everywhere and if they do they're not going to have very much res.
Sensory allows the skulks to pick when to engage. If you don't think your going to win just sit and wait silently until an opportunity arises or just walk away. Also if your getting absolute pounding you can just run round the corridor and poof, your gone. Also sensory allows you to get up closer to a marine than cara ever could without taking damage thanks to being able to walk invisibly.
It certianly does have it's weak points and your not going to win without another hive going up quickly afterwards but i think for the first 10 minutes or so Sensory is brilliant. Also a cloaked onos can have a field day with HAs. Decloak, stomp, devour, run away and repeat process with pretty much no damage to you. Another EDIT: I like sens so much because i'm so much more effective with it than with other chambers and i'm not in a clan so for me it not being a viable tactic on clan servers isn't an issue for me:)
