NS changes the gamma a bit, so the colours become more vibrant.
ResetGamma.exe is located in your NS folder and.. well it will reset your gamma (surprise, surprise) <!--emo&:D--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/biggrin.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='biggrin.gif'><!--endemo-->

    'a bit'? Lol.

I have tried running ns in Steam and it worked normally (ie gamma goes up and after exit it drops again). You can reset the gamma using your graphic card drivers control panels or whatever namer it has. But when i last tried it (half year or such). It fixed the gamma just until run of another OGL game. But this only after 'abnormal' exit from NS (it crashed), when i exit it normally the gamma drops and behaves normally.

Ok, if your problem is that the gama is pumped after you crash the fix is resetgama (in the ns dir)

if the problem is overbright INGAME

turn down your moniters brightnes (your killing it, literaly)

if neither works then go read the webbed threads at the top of the forum (they are theres for a reason)
