<div class="IPBDescription">My first post and NS related drawing...</div> Okay I made this a few days ago and soon realized that it would make a pretty nice turret or siege, Feedback please...

1.) Welcome to the forums man
2.) that is a friggin awesome concept, but I agree with Jeburto on this one, there seems to be too much going on, at least like 20k polys worth for like a turret *i have no clue on polys, is that alot for a turret i dunno???*
Neway, cool0r
CC, two IPs, TF, armory, three teammates, and three sentries on screen.
polycount? ~70,000
At this point, Half-Life is about ready to croak. So you fire one shot.
As the bullet casing shows up on screen, HL decides those extra 8 polies have become the last straw on the camel's back.
A signal is sent to your videocard, which is then carried to your RAM, causing every one of those megabytes to rise up in revolt. They approach your harddrive, armed with axes, pitchforks, and torches, laying waste to all they see. Disks shatter and fragment, while the ruthless horde encroaches on your processor. On the outside, your monitor cannot take the strain and explodes, sending thousands of tiny fragments at high speed into your face. The electron guns overload, and begin arcing millions of volts of electricity into your eye sockets. This electromagnetic cascade begins concentrating in the appliances in your house, where they then seep into the local power grid.
The overload makes it's way across town within seconds, within minutes it's affected the region, and within an hour every powerplant on the continent is offline.
This cascade, magnified by the sympathetic failure of every power grid on the planet, causes a chain reaction that detonates the earth's core. The sheer electromagnetic shock emanates for thousands of light years, eliminating all forms of matter and energy, until they reach the galactic core.
A mass implosion event takes place, and in a single cataclysmic instant the universe ceases to be.
*cough*
Yeah, 20000 polies might be a bit much for a turret. <!--emo&:p--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/tounge.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='tounge.gif'><!--endemo-->
Nice concept, but I'd tone down a little on the detail. It'd make a good siege, that's for sure.
But still very nice concept. Keep it up
Nice... <!--emo&:D--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/biggrin.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='biggrin.gif'><!--endemo-->

err... <!--emo&???--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/confused.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='confused.gif'><!--endemo--> , for that to happen it'd have to rival the electromagnetic power of every black hole and neutron star in the universe (and there's lots)
but seriously dude, it's a niice model. I like the wires. Get rid of the silencer thingy (and the other little barrel) and just turn the front into 1 BIG barrel. Give it a rotating platform and... siege!
