you may want to read this
I’m sure many of you stalker fans have already read it but for those that haven't i found this quite an interesting read.

I had heard of this event before but the game made me go and look up more about Chernobyl. The photos of the vehicle graveyard are pretty cool. It's got such an eerie feel to it. It hardly seems real; I don't know why it's just so unsettling.

Wow. Good quality on the pictures, and I can see that they're great material as a base for in-game locations. Some of the pictures of abandoned wood and brick homes in the village made me remember of Fallout 1 and 2...with no Fallout 3 on the horizon, I certainly hope Stalker can keep carrying the torch.

I found that the day after I first heard about stalker
I believe I was actually looking for info about the movie Stalker (which I have seen twice by now) and the book Roadside Picnic (which I have read once in swedish and once in english).
I agree that those pictures are really nice. I used one of the pictures including the canal and nuclear plant (or more specific, those round things, whatever they are supposed to do) as desktop for 6 weeks .

yea i really can't wait to get a new computer for all these amazing games. I think the game is in good taste considering its based on a real event. I'd never be able to play it on my current computer though so it may be a while before i find myself wandering around in that oh so cool game world.

I like how they took the ferris wheel from their visit and stuck it into the game
Here's hoping you can ride it and snipe from the top.
