Firewall Vs. Ns

o no
I am using ZoneAlarm Pro and it's been working great ever since I installed it. However, NS stopped working all of a sudden (was not able to load - Not Responding messege) and had to restart my computer after every attempt. So I narrowed the problem down to my firewall. After turning it off, NS loaded normally and I was able to join a game without any problems. If it is indeed my firewall that was the problem, what can I do in order to leave it on while playing NS? Keep in mind that my firewall had no problems with NS or any other program in the past, this just happened one day without warning. It is possible that I may have changed some setting in the firewall program without knowing. But if so, what can I do to get things back to normal?
Thanks

My suggestion for now is, to use older version (if you can find it -_-).
Most likely, this happened since ZA ver 4.x and on.
ZA ver 3.x works fine.
Version I am using now is 3.7.211, downloaded in September. It works wonders.
Go to the ZA forums and ask them about it. More than likely other people have hit this and there is a fix/workaround
Possibly ZA is interrupting HL to ask for permission to access the internet, which leads to half life seeming to minimize itself to a service, try granting "Half Life Launcher" full permissions
YES! Thanks for the help, I found an older version and it works great. The version Eternieve suggested, 3.7.211, can be found here.
Thanks again
