Great book.
I just got a book called "Jennifer Government" a few days ago. I've wanted it for ages and I've finally got it. I read it in about a day (~320 pages) and it was HILARIOUS!
This book is about an alternate present-day, where America's influence has expanded to all of the Americas, Australia, and Russia. There are a few countries that aren't taken over yet, like France, Africa, and the whole middle-east. These countries are run the "old-fashioned" way, with the governments being the central decision maker. In the "USA Countries", things are run differently. A lot differently. Corporations rule everything. The government only exists to enforce certain rules. The Police and the NRA are private security firms. There are two major groups of people. The US Alliance group, which is where most of the big corporations are, and the Team Advantage group, which is slightly smaller. They compete with each other, pretty much. Almost nothing is against the rules. Citizens take on the last names of the companies they work for. (Example: If I worked for Wal-Mart, my official name would be Chris Wal-Mart. If you're in school, you take on the last name of the company that owns and runs your school.)
I'm not going to reveal any more, but it's absolutely hilarious and a great read. If you want to learn more about it, or if you want to read the first chapter, you can go to the official site.

A freind of mine told me about a book. Kinda sci-fi, cyberpunk comical thing.
Every city was owned, run and named by corporations like "Mr. Wongs Little Tokyo" and all the freeways were locked and the only citizens that had access to freeways and other cities were pizza delivery guys?
Sorry about the poor description, but If anyones read it, Im sure that will suffice.
