Edit: Not entirely sure. I'm going to say no. Even then, you'd best run for dem hills mmm hhhmmm. /slingblade

However, give that marine an HMG and a CP and a long hallway....

But do remember that it is only 8 seconds. Good for an assault. Not good for a retreat. Sure you may get a few extra meters between you and that angry alien but now you have 25 less HP, and that alien is still faster than you.

cant one marine with a catpack just devistate onos now with a hmg, shotgun of some sort?

cuz if it does imagine wut a whole marine team could do

EDIT: now that hitboxes are fixed i doubt ull be seeing many onos running rampant in game, if 1 cat pack can have 1 marine own a celrity+ regen onos im not gonig to bother going onos and waste 100 res just to die to a marine when i can go gorge and build 9 ocs to defend a hive and also, wont cat packs make a hive 1 onos usless? if so wouldnt that just make it a own alien game to a good team of marines (im not whining about catpacks seeing how i have never been in game with them, im simply asking questions some others are afraid to because they dont want to be flmaed to death )

Onos health and armor is of course being boosted... they do playtest occasionally, you know

In 2.01, unupgraded onos speed == marine speed. No, you can't outrun a celerity onos. Not even with a jetpack, if the onos is charging. Although then you might be able to fly up to some safe ledge and laugh and shoot at it, until it jumps up and devours you.

Why would an incompetent commander drop cat packs on marines rather than mass recycling to screw them over?

If you have a commander with this mindset in the chair you have bigger problems to worry about.

The onos was boosted to make up for his improved Hitbox, which made him the largest bullseye in the game.

The Cat pack with a knife IS INSANE, the alien RTs die in a hail of knife slashes.

Cat packs are great with the HMG, you can fire all 150 rnds in that 8 seconds and then reload.

In beta, are comms binding their catpak keys with medpaks? Expensive, but hell.. it's just.. easier.

Catalyst: a substance that initiates or accelerates a chemical reaction without itself being affected

    Seems pretty fitting to me.

you can't bind keys to drop more than one thing.
