Does jkII have some kind of "safe mode" you can run it in? If so try that, if not I don't know :/

Have you tried downloading the latest drivers from your card's manufacturer?
Have you tried reinstalling the game?
and no this did not happen before i reinstalled xp
If you have a GeForce card, get your drivers <a href="http://www.nvidia.com/content/drivers/drivers.asp" target="_blank">here.</a>.
If you have an ATI card, get them <a href="http://mirror.ati.com/support/driver.html" target="_blank">here</a>.
If you have some other card, post what kind it is ...
Make sure you get the drivers for Win XP.
