    hasnt that got something to do with the resolution?
    Does jkII have some kind of "safe mode" you can run it in? If so try that, if not I don't know :/

    do you have open gl if you do just try to reinstall that always works for me

    Did you get the error before or after you re-installed WinXP?

    Have you tried downloading the latest drivers from your card's manufacturer?

    Have you tried reinstalling the game?

    thats an error with the resolution or the drivers...... try with 800x600 resolution and 640x400..... or, get the drivers at openglsetup a few posts over this one

    try deleting the .cfg files in your /base folder

    i deleted the cfg files but it still didnt work
    and no this did not happen before i reinstalled xp

    you probably have to update your video drivers.

    If you have a GeForce card, get your drivers <a href="http://www.nvidia.com/content/drivers/drivers.asp" target="_blank">here.</a>.

    If you have an ATI card, get them <a href="http://mirror.ati.com/support/driver.html" target="_blank">here</a>.

    If you have some other card, post what kind it is ...

    Make sure you get the drivers for Win XP.
