next week, on the 1st of december, exams start here in Belgium, but when those are done (16 dec.) i can start making something

map models like dunno, little things like crates, junk, empty cans etc

yeah ... dunno lol

    A bench would be nice, like the kind some places have in the hallways for people to sit on. Dosen't have to be too complex.

    Couldn't you just add a model in some water, add a bubble sprite and make a path for it to go along? Rather than wait to Dec 16th for it?

    My suggestions:
    PDA (like the <a href='http://www.natural-selection.org/manual/' target='_blank'>NS Manual</a>)
    Eating Utensils
    Tools
    Robotic stuff (arms, droids, etc)

    That's all I can think of right now. It would be nice to have a bunch of NS props to put in levels of course it'll be interesting to see if a lot of them can be used with the entity limit that's in place. I know the Dark Truths mod were making a lot of models for map props but that mod I believe closed down.

    <b>Edit:</b> This is probally for the S&I forum but I wonder if theres a way that Flayra or Max could more more of the entities to the client side like cyclers and such that are there just for eye candy so that maps could put in more eye candy without chugging the servers.

    Seams like it shouldn't be too hard for you to learn how to skin some of these props. I've done some 3D modeling before and it wasn't terribly hard to skin just meticulous. Of couse then I decided that I hated modeling and that mapping was more my style <!--emo&:)--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/smile.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='smile.gif'><!--endemo--> .

    Heck yeah, if you could build and release HL2 to us that'd be awsome because valve is taking SOOOOOO long to finish it!!!

    Oh, you mean the milk crate? Yeah, I'm sure some people could find that usefull.

    I bet you could put the fade in the 'fetal position' by taking the curent model and 'animating' the bones to put it in the fetal position.

    Also about skinning the models, maybe they could be posted in the NS Customization forum and some people from there could skin them.

    Nice crate m8 ! Im looking for a toolbox type container with a few scathered tools lying around it , i think it could really add to some areas of my map . Theres a thread on it , ns_entropy , check it out if you have some time Cheerz , later:)

    Well, I've got a little problem here mister.
    I have a shower room for my map, Co_nova, yet no showers! The irony! Think you could make me a small shower unit, with a little extending shower head connected to the main unit that has a temperature dial and an on/off switch with a little red led to show if it's on or not.
    I'd really appreciate it, and you'd get full credit, respect and a Willy Wonka golden ticket from me.

    yeah andos is right that would be uber cool.
    make it move like it has a liquid in it. and then you could have it
    making a squelchy noise!!! very nice idea someone should model something
    like that!!!
