    yeah that's why i thought they were crazy to stick em in there, but they actually chop up real nicely. Apparently they are actually made to be shredded. The shredder even had a CD slot on it w/ a little picture of a CD going in...

    I find that getting in the middle of a parking lot with a few AOL cd's then lobbing then 30 yards and watching em' explode on the pavement is more fun. Once you get the arm for it you can get them a good 50 ft in the air before they plummet back to earth...

    I wanted to make a sculputre out of AOL cd's, but then I realized it would probably suck, because it was made of AOL cd's

    know whats even more fun it might hurt but hey make jagged edges on cds and make a game outta it throw em at eachother as hard as you can about 20 ft apart. hey it hurts but its funny when you hit someone in the hand and a bloodsteram pops out.. sucks cuz we had to stop cuz some kid got nailed in the neck :X nothing important got hurt thou

    I have over 10-15 thousand Operating system CDs in my room right now.

    I am trying to figure out what to do with them. (they are slated for recycling)

    You know what else is fun? Attach a CD to a high power powerdrill, then spin it so fast that it shatters. There was a Slashdot article on it a while ago, I think. Let's see if I can dig it up...

    They did this on MythBusters on TLC as well. Pretty spectacular results.

    at the Tower Records near the mall, i took all of the AOL CDs and my friend and I perforated them with upgraded airsoft rifles.

    we don't play much now, but damn it's fun to shoot CDs.

    i learned cool new things about the accuracy of my m24 =]

    and his 450 fps aug is quite nice, too.
