Need a new isp before i get d/c'ed again
My isp is the most pathetic excuse for internet the world has ever known. Some ppl say that their isp is the the worst but this one takes the cake (or something like that). Disconnects are frequent, my average ping is 600-700ms, but perhaps the worst of all is when i can't connect at all, every once in a while my password won't work for a day or two, and sometimes I can connect but it won't let my modem send or recieve data (this usually happens for about a week at a time). Oh, and did I mention that I'm paying $30 a month for this crap? I looked at the other options like earthlink A&E and sprint, but since its all american It would cost about $50 a month. Living in B.C. sure pays huh? and I'll be damned if use aol. what I need is a fast canadian service for a relatively low price or even better, a free Isp with no cap on how much time u use per month. On an umm, lighter note.I'm going to buy a new video and I need to get it in town, I went to radio shack cuz they have the best stuff and the best prices on said stuff. They offered me a Geforce 2 mx with 32mbs of ram for $80, which is a dream come true out here in the middle of nowhere, pricewise anyway. Since I'm upgrading for a sinister purpose: Morrowind! *insert evil laugh here* and I have a voodo3 16mb, I have to get it anyway. but i would like to know a bit about the card before i buy it.

It's also the one of the best prices I will ever get on a card, this other computer shop is selling a voodo5 for something around 2-4 hundred big ones (i forget)
Really, get a GF2 MX and you'll find yourself lagging behind everyone else for some time to come. Try and at least go for a Geforce3. (Save up some more if you have to)
I'd help you with your ISP problem, but I'm in the US... don't know anything about Canadian ISPs. ):
(these are the Quebec prices i dont know about BC)
Anything with MX in it.... sucks.
It's crap in a box.
Seriously, get over your fear of online ordering.

look into the Geforce 2 Ti, or the GeForce 3 Ti 300.
