<div class="IPBDescription">With Steam</div> - AMD Athlon
- Nvidia Geforce 4 TI 4400
- Not sure on the Sound...Creative Sound Blaster Audigy?
- Windows XP Pro
- 1600x1200 with OpenGL
- Do not use EAX
- Using Half-Life through Steam
I have been reading this board for a few days now to see if anyone had problem such as mine but I do not think I saw one as bad as mine...
Play NS for around 15 minutes or so then it crashes (though Steam is still up). After Crashing I can tell that my screen is extremly bright so I restart computer to hopefully fix it but on the restart the dreaded blue screen appears. I play TS regularly and it has never done this once; have not tested my other mods (Steam will not let me run DoD). It has done this about three tiems in a row playing NS and I have uninstalled NS about 2-3 times. Over the summer my computer would go directly into a blue screen when playing ANY video games but I fixed that by replacing my CPU fan (a simple overheating problem with dying fan). So not sure what to do now because I'd rather not risk putting my computer through more crashes...any help would be appreciated...

Now, as for BSoD
The best cure is generaly UPDATE!!!!
get all the new drivers for ALL your hardware (don't forget MoBo) as well as running windows updater (you should be doing this every few weeks any way <!--emo&:p--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/tounge.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='tounge.gif'><!--endemo-->)
