Or however it goes
I need to find help for my 3dCard software (EXPERTool) cuz it isn't working right. And yes, I tried anandtech and i posted something on comp.hardware.video (or something) already. However Anandtech had squat and you cant trust Usenet groups. Does anyone have either general sites for 3d card help (the manufacturer doesnt help) or a site for the Gainward Ti4200's EXPERTool?

In what way isn't it working?

You should be able to reinstall the software off your driver CD.

Otherwise have you tried using something else like NVmax (Which does much the same thing, if not more).

Else you should be able to do anything through windows' 'advanced' button, under the system tab of desktop properties. (Unless you're on XP in which case I dunno where it is, I assume it's the same place).

This is just a shot in the dark, but you didn't happen to try installing the latest Detonator drivers from Nvidia did you? That would replace the Gainward driver set and cause some problems.

There are 2 versions of EXPERTool available to download. Maybe you could try the other.

You've probably found this already but check here.

Thanks spooge, I managed to get the newest version there. It appears to be working fine. And the newest detonator drivers are for XP/2000, which I will have soon, but do not currently have. In any case, thanks guys.

edit: darnit, still not working. Ah well.
