Extremely Cool Ebay Auctions Thread!
Weeee let's have some fun with Ebay shall we?
<a href='http://cgi.ebay.ca/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&category=3608&item=3058998878' target='_blank'>Nintendo World Championships NES Cartridge</a>
Apparently there is only something like 120 of these carts in existence. They were used for the Nintendo World Championships (duh) and feature Super Mario Bros, Rad Racer and Tetris.
According to this auction the last time a cart like this went on auction it reached $2000 US. I tend to believe him from the quick research I did on the cart...
So yeah, go forth and prosper Ebay users... find weird and cool crap!

I was there! I got to play on this cart when it came through town.
Man I wish they would do one of those again...
It was so awesome! It was like a Nintendo only E3!! They had game demos out of games that wouldn't be out for another year (or more)!
Super Mario Bros 3, River City Ransom, and more, all before it was out anywhere, and I got to play it! I even got to crash SMB3! :D
just because your a Nintendo guy?

So YOUR the kid who played <a href='http://www.x-entertainment.com/articles/0795/2.jpg' target='_blank'>Jimmy</a> in <a href='http://www.x-entertainment.com/articles/0795/' target='_blank'>The Wizard!</a>
That poked my eye for some reason, remembered suddenly the Indiana Jones movie.
Annoying part is there that every item has caption like this: SUPERB BRITISH ADMIRALS HAT@@LOOK@@
And description minimun font size is 24 most likely. Gets really hard to read and I wouldnt trust too much buying stuff when guy is writing like 12 year old CS hax playa.
BWAHAHAHAA
<a href='http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=2965682487&category=1469' target='_blank'>It hovas without flaping!</a>
Actually, I got to play SMB3 *BEFORE* the Wizard came out! Before they even started marketting it I think! Uber early. :D
Actually, that's a really nice jar. I'd pay what he's asking for it.
*giggles at giant amount of Ninja assorted items on Ebay*

Dude, I was there too, and I played that cart too -- and I was a semi-finalist <!--emo&:p--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/tounge.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='tounge.gif'><!--endemo--> I have proof! I don't remember how many semi-finalists there were, but I'm sure we were like the 90th percentile... I was impressed with myself, anyway, because I'd never played Rad Racer before that day and figured it out on the spot <!--emo&:D--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/biggrin.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='biggrin.gif'><!--endemo--> and also because I had a cousin who was a brat about 4 years older than me, and I got further than him in the competition... :> he blamed it on a bad set of Tetris pieces...
I was but 10 years old...
ELECTRIFIED HULL? you could never get a parking ticket! it would zap any cops who touched it! awesome!
I can't believe they'd let this thing be privately owned :> seems like it'd be very illegal for someone to own such a weapon.
anyone remember the "giant cheeto" craze on ebay? that was pretty funneh. first, someone selling a giant mutant cheeto. then, people selling pictures of the giant cheeto. then people selling pictures of people looking at and being dumbfounded by the giant cheeto. t-shirts, etc., ensued. too bad I can't find anything interesting and cheeto-related anymore <!--emo&:(--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/sad.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='sad.gif'><!--endemo-->
