It looks very nice, although i do have one gripe. I don't like the background, plain black is too boring and the contrast between that and the white electricity is too vast. I'm not really sure what would go and look good (Maybe a blue), but try a little experimentation.

Well uhh... A solarized hand, a few dissolve brushes and smudge... [/dissect]

But looks nice anyway. Although you could make the electricity a bit more realistic. And yeah... Background.

it's ok I guess... looks a lot like the artwork in Dungeons and Dragons books but that's a good thing I think

Maybe a lighter grey background? I think that could look quite leet. Ice blue would alse be very nice.

    The lighting doesn't make sense.

It's nice, but too high of a contrast curve on the hand shadows.

Not bad. I'd suggest 'streamlining' the upper left part of the uniting stream - it kinda looks blocky there. The contrast looks fine to me provided the background fits; I'd by the way suggest using some sort of vertical speedstriping to reinforce the 'directon' of the picture.

this is a funny thread. I've seen crappy art get alot of "w000t" n' stuff like that. I thought this was quite good and all im reading is "blah blah crap, i dun leik it "

Nice work imo, looks very good.

e/ oh, i think it'd be good if you stretched the electricity off the side of the image rather than making it disapate. (sp?)

the reason for this is that w/ bad art, people say nice comments just to make the bad artists feel nice, but with good art, people are free to give crits. Even though most of the time they just b****.

I wish I could do that, seriously! And you know what your piece of art reminds me of? The auras Ralph shoots with his hand in Insomnia by Stephen King.

It looks cool, I like that hand pose you got there and that cool lightning effect coming out of the hand. I can't say much more than, great job!

    it's nice.

Just do the background and it should be better.
