wow, I left this thread alone for 2 days and look at what happened =P
first off, I was mainly griping about my bad luck. I've essentially only been stopped once before, in my 4+ years of driving, so how frickin' ironic is it that I get stopped in the one week my license is expired?
also, it DOES sincerely bother me that I failed inspection for a TINY hole in my headlight, which still worked and never would have stopped working, and when you see people driving around every day with their doors bashed in, lights taped up, windows broken and replaced with garbage bags, etc...
anyway, if I wanted a lecture, I'd talk to my MOM about it. I was just venting; lay off, and be supportive of your fellow posters ;p or don't expect any sympathy when YOU have a stroke of bad luck.
I mean, I buckle my seat belt almost all the time, especially when the weather is bad. I'm an excellent driver -- never been in an accident, etc... and the fact is, cops have ticket quotas to fill for revenue, and he was just camping for someone to stop, so if he didn't ticket me for my seat belt he'd ticket me for something else. The other time I was stopped, I was student profiled near my college, and when he found no drugs or drunk driver, he gave me a ticket for a "view obstruction": having my high school graduation tassle hanging from my mirror. great, eh?
In conclusion, Menix is my personal hero. <!--emo&:D--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/biggrin.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='biggrin.gif'><!--endemo-->

My vehicle has the entire drivers side front end smashed, and by my friend too! He supposed to pa, but I have been to lazy to get it fixed. In the course of 4 months I have only been pulled over one and I got one of those "safety" warnings, not a ticket, but a slip of paper "reminding" me to get it fixed. It was a saturday morning at 1:00am and the only reason he pulled me over is becuase he wnated to see If I had been drinking, and the headlight was an excuse. But I hadn't been drinking (surprised?, I was) and I did have my seatbelt on like I always do. So, I got off with a warning becuase I was nice and I had all the information ready when he got to the vehicle.
