i have an really high quality .avi file, and i want to import it into flash, but i need to break it down into individual images. are there any programs or something that break down moives into a sequence of frames?

theres a program u could use and it has genie in the name but i forget it...il PM u if i remember.

Search for "RAD Video Tools". It can convert to BMP files and animated GIFs, I think.

Adobe's Imageready can convert many different video formats into animated gifs, you may want to try that.

hmmmm, how high quality are gif sequences compared to jpegs?

cuz i need to conserve the quality of the movie when i make the conversion
