<div class="IPBDescription">lmg replacement by me</div> heres a picture for an lmg model replacement. Its the O.I.C.W.(objective individual combat weapon) and i thought it might do as a model replacement for the lmg. Its the first model i did and i hope you like it <!--emo&:)--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/smile.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='smile.gif'><!--endemo--> .
P.S. mind the trigger for now and the texturing on the sides, ill fix that soon and then do a v_model.

    for a first model that's not bad <!--emo&:)--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/smile.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='smile.gif'><!--endemo--> . I think as you model more you'll add more detail but at least you've got the basic shap correct. How many polys is that?

    The polycount is 392, I tried to keep it as low as possible becuase i was afraid i might have gotten in to the 2000 without knowing it. Now that i got the base i'll add some more details. Thx for the complaments.     I did the exact same thing a while ago, photoskin looks good in renders.

    hmm... the lanser and range adjustment buttons on the trigger guard are a bit messed up.. oh..and the magazine is a little bit out of shape..

    It just have holes where you cant see, it's a V model.

    Can you post an untextured picture? Putting a photo skin on a model is a no-no, but atleast we'll be able to offer suggestions on the geometry.

    im sorry you need to look at some tutorials
    i got some glock modelling tut somewhere i just need to edit it ill pm you when its done so you can check it and learn some techniques

    Im screwed on your tut.. i only got milkshape3d and ms paint(<reason why i had no choice but to ethier photoskin or rip off someones textures which i dont like to do.) But anyways thanx for the suggestions and im updating the model. Im going to get photo shop soon so maybe that'll help with the textures. Well cya all later and thanx for the input

    I've decidied to change my O.I.C.W. into a new type of weapon.(nice oicw by the way, you make me jealous <!--emo&:D--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/biggrin.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='biggrin.gif'><!--endemo--> ) Its going to be heavly modified. Here's a pic of what it looks like currently. Hope you like it better than the last pic

    You know, 500 poly models is just way too simple for v_model. 1000-3000 is good i think.

    yeah but its so standard to use the sucky photostuff like the original counterstrike team does

    its ethier that or i rip off textures from other peoples work which i think is even worse untill i get photoshop. The textures that i used for now is only a temporary skin
