<div class="IPBDescription">ala Konsole</div> Does anyone know if there are any alternitave command prompt console applications for windows, specifically XP? And if so, where to get them at?     I know theres a way in the registry you can change the colors of it... I just don't remember how.

    Yea, but I mean a different interface completly. With options. If you have ever used Linux, there are a whole bunch of console options. I want to know about windows tho. HKEY_CURRENT_USER/Console is where you can edit the colors BTW.

    The windows console is basically a version of an original DOS console. You might want to look up stuff on working with DOS. I don't know that the DOS shell could do all that Unix shells can do, but it's worth a shot. By the way, it's possible to get ports of a Linux-like environment to use under windows (Cygwin) including a Linuxy shell. That might suit your tastes better.
