<div class="IPBDescription">vet mapper has n00b problem</div> I'm not a new mapper, so feel free to use all the technical terms you want, however, I'm posting here because I have a n00b problem. How do I know its a n00b problem? Because it happened to me before, when I first started mapping 3 years ago, but I don't remember how I fixed it.
Anyway to set the sceen, I just got cagey's compile tools and pasted them into the 3.5 beta hammer folder to replace merl's tools that had been there. I set up a compile of my ns map, then run the compile in hammer. Here is what I get...

As you can tell, no work is done. In fact, this whole "compile" took about 5 seconds. And the error messages don't help much either,

At first I thought that maby I had to retarget the new tools in the option/build programs page, but that didn't work. Then I remembered that sometimes good old WorldCraft had had problems with path names that had spaces, but after copying hammer and the tools, and the map into spaceless path names the problem still remained. Basicly I am left with no idea why this happens. If anyone can point out where I forgot to carry the 1, I would be thankful.

it's missing the .map extension?

Did you download the 2 DLLs linked in the tool thread and place them with the executables?
