Steam Story

- a good one... finally
ok so... many of you might not now it, but i am the format king...
i have an average of 3 formats per year. If you can't imagine what would be lost, think off all your programs, all your bookmarks, all your programs, files, documents... everything, not to mention these are un-prepared for formats.
BUT, this story involves steam, so what's the story?
I registered an account, using an e-mail address i couldn't remember, and then the format came... so being SOL for my e-mail addy that i registered for, i created a new one, only to find out that my account won't be valid, because of my key...anti-leeching junk like that.
anyway, i tried for steam forums, and founf them useless... i started looking around, and found that a random steam employee had given out his e-mail (what an id10t) so, i e-mailed this "Taylor Sherman" and well, he responded with the answer to my question, and it only took 6 hours!!!!
i mean, that's service... service with a shaft as all my gcf files are out of date, but hey, i can play my games now.

Sorry for the off-topic reply but, I reformat once a month man

HAHA! that means my mother's computer (and formerly mine) has gone 3 YEARS without a format. 2 years without a Defrag.
OMG!!!!
I defrag every week.
I run a virus scan 2 times a day (on top of the auto protect)
I run Ad Aware everytime I get off the net!
I replace my Firewall with a different one every month! (then move back to old ones)
I back up everything to my second partition 2 times a month!

Wow, I think someone needs to quit being so paranoid. Not everyone is out to get you, you know.

I just use a router with a built in firewall (I think, I didn't set it up). Then I run Ad-Aware, Defrag or the virus scanner whenever my computer gets slow.
Well I can't due to..... reasons.....
Damn you microsoft.
happy times.
**EDIT**

Wow I tried the steam forum and got flamed for searching and STILL no help.
Guess I got myself a unique bug or everyone else with the bug cant be bothered to complain and intends to wait it out till someone else finds and fixes it.
Just because you're not paranoid doesn't mean people aren't out to get you!!!!
