weird
The sounds coming from my computer suddenly began to sound muffled. If you don't know what I mean by this, imagine putting a thick blanket over your speakers and listening to it. It's very similar to being inside the onos, except the "muffle"-dness affects everything on my computer from applications, music, games, clicking icons, soundfx, etc. Can anyone please help?
I already checked the wiring connections, installed latest drivers, rebooted comp, adjusted volume settings.
Sound Blaster Audigy
Athlon 2100+
Altec Lansing 2pc satellite speakers w/ subwoofer
512 DDR RAM
I think that's all the info you need. Thanks.

this site usually has some good advice. i found a pack for your card.
this may be a long shot, but check your direct sound settings. you may have inadvertantly turned on an effect (muffled is one of them). this would change all of the sounds on your computer to sound like they were muffled.
i hope that helps.
they were stated but the normal fixes to this problem are (arrrrrr matey) to check the speaker settings and the effects settings
