I'm usually not much of a fan of realism games, but what the heck, I'll try it out. Looks great, gameplay seems intuitive enough for me to run around in, although flying is gonna need some getting used to...yeah. Maybe I'll drop by IRC and try to get a game organized, if not just post some server to look on.
Heres what you do. Play as ally engineer, get a plane, fly to the carrier, paradrop on it, rig it with explosives, and detonate it. If you're lucky you can jack a boat and drive to shore to watch the show yourself, but other then that gets em every time.
I rule the skies. I often get a plane and wait for a gunner to get in, then I start barrel rolling all over the place and fly under the bridges, often leaving the gunner screaming HOLY ####, or he just jumps out, but I have never crashed once in a public game. Fun fun fun
but most of the time the entire game is extremely unorganized with no communication at all. Maybe this will change. I'd love to play a game with the NS guys, I like the 'borrow shodan' idea

I think we should also have a bigg game because you people are bragging how good you are and how you are the best, if we could just play together other people could see just how good you people are.

If your gonna host a game or something plz do it when the post the first patch. My BF1942 has hella bugs. BTW did you see their trailers on the site? They were very impressive!

when ever it trys to load the lvl (right afteR I connect or right when I try to start a server) the game crashes out and it looks like it is trying to give me an error however the window disaperes like .5 secs after hopening
So I was playing as allies, driving a buddy around in a jeep, when I spy a Japanese guy over the ridge. I exit the jeep, I assume the other dude in the jeep followed me. I hastily empty the remaining 7-10 shots in my BAR, and the enemy seems to be out of ammo also. He is looking confused, jumping all around, so I seize the initiative and pull out my pistol. In my rush to catch him reloading the first 4-7 shots go wild, quickly emptying my pistol. During this, he saw I had a sidearm out and hastily drew his. I began jumping wildly, stripped of all ammo, and he emptied his pistol also. He pulled out a grenade, then seemed to reconsider when my ally started firing at him. He began to close on me, reloading his Sg44. I pulled out my knife, and knifed him. YAY!
So apparently BF1942 likes to crash when you fall from a large height. I tried jumping off a sniper tower to test falling damage, and was quickly presented with a blue screen and a rebooting system. Way to go.
Here's a little story. I logged into some random game on BF1942, I joined the allies. Things weren't looking too good for the allies, the axis were all inland and had capture the outer flag areas. Time was almost up for this game. Most of our stationary platforms were all destoryed cept for two AA and two Sentry cannons. No one was driving the grounds vehicles though at least I didn't see any, so I hopped onto a jeep and decided to go capture back our flags back. Some player decided to join me on the ride. We made it to two flags on the North side of the island and capture them back. My partner got out of the jeep, while we were half way to the last North side flag, I didn't know why he jumped out until I turned around and saw a plane heading for us. My friend ran to one of the surviving AA cannons that we just passed and I just hauled ###. The damn plane shot at me instead of the AA gun, guess I made a more attractive target. I was confident that my friend would cover me since he hard a prety high kill ratio. I was right, I heard explosions behind me. I was probably a few meters to the last area where the flag was until I died. The plane my friend shot down crashed had crashed right into me, then the round ended with allies losing. My friend found it hilarious and I thought so too.
i cant seem to play that game everthing is black and i can only see my hands i can only play this game on a piece of junk at my grandmas because i have 56k and she has cable and 130 megs takes 4ever on 56k soo im stuck playing it at my grandmas and it doesnt work.
ps im curently downloading it on 56k its been 2 hours so far.
i had it on my computer until my family accidently deleted it i dont think it was an accident my favorite lvls were one and two with the allies lvl 2 all water kicks ### lvl 1 wake island car shooting that was awesome. <!--emo&:D--><img src="http://www.natural-selection.org/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/biggrin.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt=':D'><!--endemo-->
