It hurts!</div> I've just spent the last hour reading this whole thing (not quite done yet) <a href='http://marathon.bungie.org/story/' target='_blank'>Marathon Story</a>...I finished reading Marathon 1 & 2 and about 1/4 of Infinity. Scrolled down to see...The Cortana Letters in the Halo section at the bottom. Now my head hurts.

This is the sort of crap that I've stretched to write. I always heard Marathon was brilliant.. it's too bad it didn't catch on with the PC.

It's a Bungie game.

Of course it's good.

Marathon 1 was Mac only, which is why i'm trying to find it and a Mac Emulator so I can play it.

Marathon 2 was Mac/Windows

Well, They have a Marathon 2 Demo for PC on the bungie website, Bungie.com.

It's got Doomstyle graphics but gameplay 100000x better. Plus an MA-75B assault rifle. Now who here has read the Halo books?

This is what I've been saying all the time: Marathon rocks to the core. The game was brilliant for its time and had a singleplayer mode with thrilling level design and a deep story in a day where Doom-style "search for key, unlock door" gameplay was considered excellent. Now I'm gonna read that story and wallow in memories. Oh, did I mention the cool selection of weapons?
