Anyone know how to make a texture as a mirror - NOT glass?

There are ways to make a somewhat shiny floor or wall, but you cant really add in detail or rspeeds double, and there is no way to make mirrors to see players and stuff on the HL engine as far as I know.

You could make a mirror for the room, but you and all other players will be vampires, as will all buildings. Won't look any good in NS. Just make some shattered glass and pretend a mirror used to be there.

Nice screens watch.me.die. Now may I add another technique I have already seen in practice (Half-Life: Invasion): Just create a model out of two triangles that form a rectangle and apply the chrome effect to it's texture. You can't see reflections in the mirror, but at least it looks shiny then. <!--emo&:)--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/smile.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='smile.gif'><!--endemo-->

There are tricks involving building "rooms behind the glass" but... not worth the effort, as you'd have to coordinate the movements of many models ...
