I think that the Admins should run an sql query in the database and delete ALL custom titles so we can start from scratch - a new beginning let's say, to go with the new forums.
Then everyone could create their own that qualified, and we could get this thread locked. <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/tounge.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":p" border="0" alt="tounge.gif" />

It's more like "we take some people seriously and we don't take other people seriously" which happens to be no different from my mentality in real life or anywhere else. People are different and you don't go around banning them just because they don't treat the forums like a solemn retreat for monks in the city of Serioustopolis.

my gripe with the number being so low is that people no longer have any incentive to see the / get to the other forum default titles... it's just that after Dark Sire you have no where to go... Er had...
Why do you think anyone ever needed an incentive to get a title re: rank before this was changed? It certainly didn't affect why I posted, or how much. You didn't get promoted into a new user group or gain additional forum privileges.
As stated already PPD (posts per day) coupled with Topic Started would be a better method of guaging forum activity, assuming the user has a last_activity of greater than "X".
I dont know why you guys are going so deep into this member title dealie. Who cares if people horde posts to get a member title? The forum activity is hardly what it used to be these days, so any encouragement for posting is good.

are you implying I set my title?
Because I never did.
