    They are aiming to have it premeire at the same time across the globe. Im guessing thats why there are no midnight showings. Sucks too, because none of my friends can go because they either work or have school (im the lucky homeschooled **** <!--emo&:D--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/biggrin.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='biggrin.gif'><!--endemo--> ).

    What sucks even more is this cute chick I know wont play hookey to go see it. *Sigh* My attempts to corrupt her rosey colored little world have failed it seems. Where did I go wrong?

    She plays the flute in the high school band too...

    I agree. What's the point in going to the movies and see a new one on the first day, when there are hundreds of people squeezing through the doors, lack of tickets and general mayhem? Bleh... I'm going to see it after a week or so... Or not see it at all (ok, I'm lying, I'll see it, just not so soon <!--emo&:p--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/tounge.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='tounge.gif'><!--endemo--> ).

    If i ever go to the cinema, i know someone that works there, and i ask them when the last week they're showing it is. Then i go that week. I just can't stand to be stuck in a busy, noisy cinema full of jerks throwing popcorn and making noise while i'm trying to watch a movie.

    I just get a ticket one week in advance for an extra £1. Then when the day comes I just walk past the queue and into the theater <!--emo&:D--><img src='http://www.natural-selection.org/forums/html/emoticons/biggrin.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='biggrin.gif'><!--endemo-->

    I love a good theater crowd, they can add so much more to a movie. Especially when some moron who's cell phone keeps ringing gets shouted at and told to "shut the <bleep> up". Good times...

    EDIT: What the hell is with all these language filters? I didn't know S/T-F/U was suddenly considered a curse.

    When that moron's phone is ringing, when everyone's shouting at him, when everyone's talking, i'm trying to watch a movie.

    Other people are irritating, hence why i prefer to go when it's quiet.

    Doom, the reason can be summed up by Broadway, courtesy of Oklahoma! (your home state's famous musical):

    <!--QuoteBegin--></span><table border='0' align='center' width='95%' cellpadding='3' cellspacing='1'><tr><td><b>QUOTE</b> </td></tr><tr><td id='QUOTE'><!--QuoteEBegin-->Ooooooooo-klahoma,
    Where the wind comes sweepin' down the plain
    (And the wavin' wheat
    Can sure smell sweet
    When the wind comes right behind the rain)
    Ooooooooo-klahoma!
    Every night my honey lamb and I
    Sit alone and talk
    And watch a hawk
    Makin' lazy circles in the sky.
    We know we belong to the land,
    And the land we belong to is grand.
    And when we say;
    Ee-ee-ow! A-yip-i-o-ee-ay!
    We're only sayin',
    You're doin' fine, Oklahoma!
    Oklahoma, O.K.!
    <!--QuoteEnd--></td></tr></table><span class='postcolor'><!--QuoteEEnd-->

    Too busy yipping and staring at wheat. You are all members of the agromatrix!

    Wrong <!--emo&:D--><img src='http://www.natural-selection.org/forums/html/emoticons/biggrin.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='biggrin.gif'><!--endemo--> I've been to about 5 big movies in which I booked a ticket in advance. Yeah, our state song is about a play written and performed in New York... And when they made it a movie, they filmed it in KANSAS. I guess Oklahoma didn't look enough like Oklahoma for Hollywood...

    stupid state...

    Theaters at PSU are absolutely horrible. I am not even sure they are showing the next matrix movie for a week.

    You would think that a location that has 40,000+ college students (main campus) there would be some quality theaters.

    Warez are bad.

    I never saw Reloaded in theatres, and I still havent. The only way I'll ever see Revolutions is if my parents let my go to my friend's birthday party. I live in amerca. I can see it on the 4th, but if I don't go to this party, I'll never see it.
