2 armslabs can really make marines victory in the commanders grasp. Researching 2 things at once can really save your marines a**es. This means the marine swill go out with better chance of surviveing and better chance of killing. Ofcourse it cost another 40 res (?) (I can't remember. Haven't commed in a while) But can really save you from aliens winning. I just wanted to point this out.

1. Because you need the res
2. You are using twice the amount of res to get upgrades instead of spending that res to maybe secure a hive
Anyways - i use it only IF i have the res
have eventually 3 ips so you are outspawning the aliens, and this is a solid strat.
Oh yes... I was sleepy this one time, and I was comming. I built 3 Arms Labs... I thought it'd be faster. Stupid me! I wasn't thinking.
Unless you have many of those "short times".
If there'd be 1 upgrade, there would be no purpose for building 2 arms labs.
If there'd be 2 upgrades of 10 minutes each, there'll be a purpose.
If there'd be 20 upgrades of 1 minute each, there'll be a purpose.
