<div class="IPBDescription">Multiplayer details revealed</div>Dunno how many of you are keeping up w/ this one, but you probably should. Its got vampires, and its made by the guys who did Fallout. So its gonna pwn.

One really exciting part is it looks like they plan to do something very new and exciting w/ the multiplayer aspects of the game:
<!--QuoteBegin--></span><table border='0' align='center' width='95%' cellpadding='3' cellspacing='1'><tr><td><b>QUOTE</b> </td></tr><tr><td id='QUOTE'><!--QuoteEBegin-->Vampire: The Masquerade - Bloodlines multiplayer game pits players against each other in the ultimate team-based battle of Kindred versus Kine. Players choose which side to ally themselves with and which powers and weapons to take into battle. You will have various objectives that you need to accomplish while the other team tries to reach their own goals. All the while you battle along the streets of L.A. Each multiplayer map blends intense combat action and strategy with maps that are linked together to create an unfolding storyline.
Team Types:
Join as one of the seven different Camarilla clans or become a member of The Society of Leopold, the legendary hunters of the undead.
As a vampire, you must utilize your inner Abilities and Disciplines to eliminate your foes. If you choose to be a member of the Society of Leopold, you'll be outfitted with an arsenal of deadly weaponry including stake guns, rifles, and machine guns to hunt your prey. Along with this arsenal, you will have Numina - unique powers brought on by your faith - to help balance the scales.
Objective Scenarios:
With a variety of team-based mission objectives, you will have a unique playing experience every time. As you complete your objectives, you'll gain experience points that can be used to increase your powers and abilities or purchase better weaponry and armor.<!--QuoteEnd--></td></tr></table><span class='postcolor'><!--QuoteEEnd-->
This <i>might</i> turn out interesting, if they can pull it off. It sounds a lot like they're looking to slow down the pace of regular action multiplayer (but much faster pace than say, mmorpgs) and etc. Also the idea of putting in a storyline into multiplayer may be good, however if there's cutscenes or something like that you'd be forced to watch, that just won't work.
While I loved the first Vampire game, the multiplayer on it was just plain bad. Hopefully it'll be much better w/ this one.

Also, Gamespy has a <a href='http://www.gamespy.com/articles/october03/bloodlines/' target='_blank'>really good review</a> of the SP portion of the game and what it will entail. Definately sounds like they're going all out on this one to make it a very memoriable experience, and also quite worthy of replay value. Please don't screw it up. :X

however i would like to see 3 factions, those 2 and Black Sabbath - but its prolly going to be modded in by someone.
I know this is going to own, because Troika is like Blizzard Junior, they only make awesome games. I seriously can't wait to play this, I'm just hoping everything is authentic to the PnP RPG.
The last game by Nihilistic was semi-good, but they made up Disciplines and didn't really follow the rules.
but yes a good bunch was made up
