    well, It's small, Alien only areas are not a good idea, and the entire layout of it is largely uninteresting..eh..but keep trying SBV..Remember, Squares are no one's friends in a nicely done map. As few squares/rectangles as possible.

    its too small and primitive, add more rooms, more corridors, make it bigger.....

    Any lifts going down have to be going up as well. Make more curves and halls. Also, some alien only vents wouldn't hurt.

    Edit: Expand everything. That would leave more room to add stuff. And yes, it is small. Don't forget resource nods.

    An alien-only vent is a vent too small for a marine to stand in.  They are usually placed high off the ground, or incorporate vertical segments too high to jump.  This prevents marines from using them without jetpacks, and puts marines at a disadvantage as well (since they move very slowly while crouched).

    Problems I see:
    1) This map is simple; you need to try and add complexity.  More corridors, more rooms, more possible paths to take.
    2) All 3 hives can be easily protected by defending a single choke point; this will make it next to impossible for a marine team to take any of them.
    3) The map is too small; travel time from marine start to the hives is too short, and there's no room for expansion without immediately running into the other team.

    You may have to abandon your central hexagonal shape; however, it might be a very interesting *part* of the map.  Expand around it, or expand from it - add complexity.  Get an idea for what you want the map to be *about*, and add areas that make sense - for instance, a space ship would have things like a bridge, galley, engine room, quarters, docking bay, etc.  Stretch your imagination.

    Add a second main entrace to the Marine area, top and bottom hive. And read some of the <a href="http://www.natural-selection.org/MappingGuidelines.htm" target="_blank">Mapping Faq</a>. Jeez, SBV, you seem to get upset easily.
