<div class="IPBDescription">I did it all over again...</div>Well, I fart in WC's general direction...I did it again. It still looks sucky, and I thought r_speeds would be too high. When I checked them, highest I got was 420, and lowest was....32!!!!. I guess I need some suggestions for ideas n stuff. They still look cool. Now...onto the screenys- (Names of files tell you what they are)
Please note, the hallways leading out(Which r blocked at the moment)will have glass walls on the side that touches the SciLab. Which, in turn, will look utterly sweet. Unless r_speeds soar, then thats out of the question. Actually...scratch all that nonsense...just gimme idea for this danged room so I can finish my first NS room...ugh.

Also, the lighting could use some work. Try using the env_gamma entity and lowering the brightness value on the texture lights to get some good looking lighting contrast.
The scientists found some new crystals on the planet, but it seems to ruin everything it touched. They brought it back to the scilab, and inserted it in the machine (Which sends a laser through the object I guesss....). It rusted the machine after touching it for only 10 seconds.
It's a good start. As a few have already mentioned, I would tweak the lighting a lot, but it looks like things are coming along nicely. To help the stairs appear more 'natural', you could simply place a runner plate along the sides of the tiers.
Also good to see that you've got OpenGl working!
