This one bug eludes me
Granted, they are working hard on bringing ns_nancy back (remaking it) and I've poured over the Mapping Forum, but since ns_nancy (1.04) is playable on a 2.01 server I've gone ahead and installed it as is. It works fine although the map overviews don't, but I can live with that for now. Oh yeah, the onos still gets stuck, but so what? 66.177.40.168:27014 Depot's Nutz NS 2.01 Dominant Species TG
My problem arises while playing marines. It's actually minor, but renders the console useless as this error message is constantly scrolling : Sprite: no such frame 1, Sprite: no such frame 2, Sprite: no such frame 3 - over and over. Obviously certain sprites are missing, but which ones? Or is there something the client could alter in the hud.txt??

The "no such frame 1", "no such frame 2".. etc.. is because the minimap sprites are composed of 4 frames. Top-left, top-right, bottom-left, and bottom-right frames, which when put together make the map overview .
(or you could make an overview sprite for nancy, not that hard, really)

The minimap sprite is already installed, so I'd guess it's the player minimap (upper right) you're referring to, or the large overview ("c" key default) map, but that one would also affect the aliens.
