quite nice, good job putting all that work into it.

however, i'm sure there are many a comm who would disagree with your build order. as different comms have diff build orders depending on what the aliens are doing.

so in your guide, you point towards early phase tech. some would perhaps go early MT, or early a1.

lets say you had a large number of rines, on a fairly open, marine friendly map. well, i would personaly get 2 ips, and let them rambo all across the map, putting up RTs and taking down aliens rts, and just do a dbl AL rush.

or how about SC as first chamber? then a dbl hive lockdown would be quite viable and very advisable.

so, style and imagination, great work. but specific strats without consideration of map, size of team, or first upgrade chamber is perhaps not the best advice.

The link isn't working, could you possibly get more mirrors or provide it as a file?

Theres usually two modes of writing guides to games. First one is simple and plan, keep it mundane and try not to go into the specifics too much. Second mode would be for the advance player who would want the details to enhance their gameplay. As of now ( with all the other newbie commander guides around), you look like you should go into more indepth in detail into the specifics. Personally I would like to see a detailed analysis on each map (yes that specific) so that the casual player would get something from it (not trying to say your guide has no substance <!--emo&:p--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/tounge.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='tounge.gif'><!--endemo-->).

    and oh yea..the links don't work :\

Yea you're absolutly right ... i'm about to include more differentiated strategies parts like

    - different build order and upgrades based on alien first chamber, map and team size and overall alien skill
    - securing the base (sentries, minens ?)
    - early fade/onos countermeasures
    - gorge rush countermeasures
    - tactics if you were not able to lock a hive or if you lost your locked hive
    - two hive lockdown

also esp. build order and upgrades are only suggestions as different comm's have different strats and will also choose different build orders and upgrades.
