Forsaken crusade
<div class="IPBDescription">My own modification</div>Hey, I've said things about it in the past, and was asked a while back about it by quite a few people who sounded interested. Well, I hope I don't encroach upon certain forum rules as to not posting your own modification up, I would read the FAQ for this but it is getting to long and I never visited the Off-Topic forums before. Lemme say this, if you want to help, be obliged to offer it, on the channel, however this is not a call for help.
Forsaken Crusade is a semi-FPSRTS game that is based a bit off my own series I am currently writing. I had this idea a while back but came upon NS, thought it was definetly feasible and began to add to it. When I saw I was thinking in far to much the same direction as NS, I backtracked. To start, you would need to know either the background on Iron Glove, a modification for SS:SE that I hope to work in conjunction with our own Forsaken Crusade (I wrote the story behind Iron Glove as well basing it off my own), or Forsaken Crusade. Long story short, Lord Navros, God of Justice, has died, leaving his realm, the Plane of Infinite Justice, up for grabs. And who better than the person who started the wheels turning on Navros' death than Vyxil, Queen of the Demons. With her horde of Drow, and Demon creatures, she invades the Plane of Infinite Justice in hopes to overtake Lord Navros' prior residence, his giant tower home Fellhorn. However, the Keepers of Fellhorn, the Cavaliers, Templars, and Clerics who have fallen in Lord Navros' name do not simply fade from the earth, they go to his side. And, the many ruins around the plane hold a secret, gargoyles and statues which are meant to rise when evil threatens the realm. So, you can either be the goodly Keepers of Fellhorn, or the evil Horde of the Demon. Classes are not based off each other like most past games, there are 6 per side, completely different, come with weapons and abilities already. The objective is a structure standing infront of you when you spawn in. For both sides, it's an object known as the Mana Obelisk, a structure resembling the Washington Monument, made of Quartz for Fellhorn and Obsidian for the horde, both carved with glowing runes. Out in the world are things known as Mana Wells, which transfer mana to the Mana Obelisk. Through gaining mana, people are allowed blessings by their master such as potions of health or extra speed, as well as the Mana Obelisk recieving it's own benefits. The idea, destroy the other team's obelisk. Sounds easy, of course all of them are guarded by gargoyles that shoot balls of energy at anyone in their line of sight not of that team, as well as teams spawn about it allowing them to simply slaughter you as you stand around, not to mention the ability to heal up a Mana Obelisk. There is alot more to it, but I see t hat I wrote down quite a bit and explaining anymore would take another ten pages per subject. Suffice to say, features:
Semi-Complex Melee Combat System for actual Skill
Benefits of Teamwork
Roaming Monsters and Stationary Monsters
Multiple Looks for characters
Special Abilities that can be done without changing weapons
Choice between offensive, defensive, or equal based attacks and blocks
Relics of Power to heighten abilities
Blessings from your master ot heighten abilities

I should be on most of the time as Vangor, any questions or want to learn more about it, ask me, I'll feel free to explain. For those of you wishing to join, a few requirements that are so simple to follow you need do nothing.
