Softball Hitting

<div class="IPBDescription">any hints?</div> I'm in the softball team of the school (since there is no baesball team).

I'm the extra-hitter, and some times 2nd base, and I would like some hints. There is this big tournament in 2 weeks from now, and I need to play well.

When I manage to hit the ball, I normally do homeruns, like 95% of the time I hit the freaking ball. However, I hardly hit the ball, and that freak me out. I'v got some wierd ability that the rest of the team doesn't and I can actually aim to where I want to hit and manage to send it far, far away. BUT I HARDLY HIT THE BALL!!!!!

Can somebody give me any advice to how to hit better?

hmm, look at the trajectory of the ball. I don't actually play, but I would think, closer to your hand = easier to hit, but further = more powerful.

Just concentrate and take a big step before/while your swinging. One thing I use to do when I played baseball was drill a hole in the ball, then put like a 10 footrope thru it and tie a knot on the end. Then my dad would swing it around in circles either fast or slow and just let me hit it.

It does sound scarry for the person swinging it around in circles, but, when my dad was doing it, it didn't hit him once and didn't even come close. Goodluck!
