take your data with you
I am sure most of you have heard of the USB flash drive. it plug into your UBS port and holds 32, 64, 128, 256 etc amounts of data. I was looking at these in a magazine and stuff because i'm looking for portable storage for university work, but the watch is too expensive since you can get the same amount of storage for cheaper. =/

I take it you've never worked in an office environment or in higher education then.

Portable data storage is amazingly useful, and it's extremely small. My university has no Zip drives, and i'm not going to burn off a cd for 30mb any more than i'm gonna fit 30mb on a disc.

A technician in our school has USB keyring drive. He'll love this little device. I like it too! Still my touch screen watch > all. I've had it for six years (no joke) and it's still going strong (only 2 battery changes and about 10 strap changes )

    Here's a pic...

RWs are triple the cost of a regular CD and, in my experience, quite unreliable.

On a different note, I've wanted one of these watches for MONTHS! (I saw it on ThinkGeek a while back.)

And in germany one provider has an offer where you get one of these watches for free when subsribing to one of there DSL offers. Anyway, I don't need USB-"HDDs", CD-R is enough for me ^^

I saw this a while back on ThinkGeek, and (like most of the stuff on ThinkGeek) I drooled uncontrollably over it for a few minutes before realising that I have no use for it whatsoever.

So yes, it's very cool. But my room's cluttered with enough utterly useless crap as it is. Well, I imagine some people would have uses for these things, but I don't
