<div class="IPBDescription">all stock maps + key locations + terms</div> Hey guys I put together these maps, hopefully new players and intermediate players alike will find them useful. In the maps section you will find (imo) the most important key locations. These are places you will commonly hear in game "is under attack" "defend" , etc. It's extremely important that you learn all the stock maps as best as you can. The maps are laid out in the exact same direction as the ones in game that you can pull up when you use your C key.

I have also created an acronym section. This covers various general terms + abbreviations for map specific locations as well as which map they can be found on. Example - AP = Atmospheric Processing, ns_bast. If you want to see where AP is actually located you can then goto the maps setion and pull up a 1024 size picture of it and see exactly where that is located on the map. I'm sure that everyone that reads this can find some useful information in here.

<a href='http://sinister-civil.at0mic-cafe.com/modules.php?name=Encyclopedia&op=list_content&eid=8' target='_blank'>Terms</a>

Oh..... and if this has been done before, plz don't bother posting that. I don't care. It doesn't hurt once in awhile to have someone repost or redo something for the sake of the new players that don't live and breathe by the 'search' function.

Enjoy !

If you haven't played before 2.0: There are some locations that got renamed at 2.0. On ns_caged the purification station was called pumping station. Many people (like me) still they that...

I noticed quite a serious mistake on the map on Tanith. The top left hive is not called feed waterm it is called waste handling

a less serious one is on ns_lost, you have misspelled Eternal Requiem.

    apart from that, good work

thanks for these... it'll help when figuring out what map i was playing on... as i don't know the names..... i'm a visual person, and never have had the time to "associate" the name with the maps.

as a side note, there are a version of these that have been made into sprites, so in your minimap (top right) and your map projection (acessed by pressinc "c") the locations have their names... if anyone is interested in these, PM me, and i'll provide a link.

More map overviews can be found at:

    <a href='http://www.ns-central.co.uk/overviews.php' target='_blank'>http://www.ns-central.co.uk/overviews.php</a>
-Stylish overviews, textures and all. Similar to the commander view.

    and
    <a href='http://www.readyroom.de/content/mapoverviews/' target='_blank'>http://www.readyroom.de/content/mapoverviews/</a>
Obviously the second site is auf Deutsch, but it is pretty simple to get the over views without speaking German.
This site also contains overviews for some of the custom maps, which is cool.
