Cool Things To Do With A Microwave

Inf takes no responsibility....
Yes before I go any futher, I take no responsibility if you screw up your microwave.... I don't think the NS forums do either.... do this at your own risk... you have been warned
Cool things to do with a microwave!
1.) Put an egg in the microwave and nuke it.... the egg will explode. (Stand back from the microwave, the door flew open on mine...)
2.) Wasted burnt CD? Nuke it for a few seconds! sizzle sizzle sizzle. Pretty patterns!
3.) Just learnt this one a few moments ago. Put a lightbulb in a glass of water and nuke it..... it lights up.... I took it out of the microwave before anything blew up though.... so I dunno how long you can leave it in there.
Anyone else got cool stuff to do with your microwave?

edit: I think I remembered it wrong. you don't peel them, but rather pour some oil on the bottom of the microwave...
cut em in half, put the cut side up and you get fun sparks

I never did get that joke...Steven Wright has kept me up at night trying to figure it out. Nope.
That cd thing is real cool, I've put lightbulbs in too, not in water though. Did anyone see that episode of mythbusters where they did the experiments involving a microwave. They made you THINK they were gonna put a dog in, and then no, they didn't.
Ketchup packets!!!
Go to 7-11 and stuff a handfull in and fire up the microwave and watch. Just be sure to leave after you're done. Fast.
Apparently when they get into the hands of NS forumites

Maybe it's one of those "love-in-a-canoe-coffee" type euphamisms - you have to be told.
Anyhow...
1. Take 3 bottle caps, small bowl, candle, and several matches.
2. Light matches, let them burn a bit, then blow them out when they get to 1/2.
3. Stick the matches around the candle, into the wax.
4. Put the candle in the microwave and light it.
5. Put the 3 bottle caps in a triangle around the candle, then put the bowl over it, making sure the bowl is resting on the caps.
6. Put a glass of water in there, will lessen the harm to the magnatron.
Its important the bowl is somehow suspended a bit off the bottom of the microwave. After about 5-10 seconds you will see some cool orangish lightning arcing off the candle into the matches.
More stuff.... http://www.amasci.com/weird/microexp.html

Instant coffee -> saves time.
Microwave -> saves time.
Combine both and you save so much time you end up going backwards. Or, if you want it math style
1 time to make coffee
.75 time saved with instant coffee
.75 time saved by nuking coffee (If you really wanted to you could I guess)
1-.75-.75=-.5
You've gone back .5. Congrats.
[Yes, before you ask, I am really bored.]
yeah, just microwave anything that isn't living for an inordiant period of time and cool stuff happens
