Light Textures

<div class="IPBDescription">Making lights look cool</div> I vaguely remember when starting NS mapping reading somewhere that you could somehow put like a alpha map over textured lights to make them look glowy... Any idea what i'm talking about??? A link or explaination would be appreciated.

    what you do is place a null textured 1 unit thick func_illusionary (Render Mode: Additive ; Render Amount: 25-75) over the light fitting texture. Then on the face of the func_illusionary put a suitable overlay texture (the overlay textures in the ns2.wad are designated by the 'fx_' prefix).
