Question For Forum Admin

<div class="IPBDescription">concerning signatures</div> This may not just be for admins, but I'm trying to get an irc link to work in my signature, and the forums keep adding http:// in front of it. Does anyone know how I can bypass that?

If I remember right, in order to fix this problem you have to edit the forum files, and if you by any chance screw up the file formatting or whatnot, then well....GG forums <!--emo&:(--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/sad.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='sad.gif'><!--endemo-->

But I could be wrong, since this is Invision and not XMB....hehe ^^;

I'm unsure what you're trying to do...as no matter what format I stick irc.gamesnet.net into a browser it doesnt load up irc at all..in fact it loads up the lyrics from that "Advice" song for some peculiar reason...

You can't have an IRC script running on web-forums, because not everyone has a default IRC program and IE doesn't load anything close to IRC. though I could be wrong.

I have the link irc://irc.gamesnet.net in use on other forums, the problem is that the ns forums add an http:// in front of it...

You could always try this:

Create a webpage that autoredirects to irc://irc.whaterver

Then put the link to that page in your signature.
