~gives him a lit candle~ hope that flame's big enough for you =3

Anyways, turns out the search thingy is actually something to do with IE. For some reason it works fine with most other browsers o.O

As for HL2, no NS wont be on there. Flayra has said that it is too hard to code having to recompile everything so he isnt going to bother. After all he is basically the only programmer despite getting help now and then from other people.

uh... maybe you guys read something more up to date but the last thing I ever read from flayra regarding it was in this interview...

<!--QuoteBegin--></span><table border='0' align='center' width='95%' cellpadding='3' cellspacing='1'><tr><td><b>QUOTE</b> </td></tr><tr><td id='QUOTE'><!--QuoteEBegin-->"<b>InGaming : With the imminent release of Half Life 2 [and all the anticipation for its release], will Natural Selection be getting a port to Half Life 2 in the future? Will that allow you to add the extra features into NS that was being held back by the Half Life engine?</b>

<b>Flayra :</b> I'm dying to experiment with that engine. The problem is, it's not a simple "port". To really take advantage of it, the game would have to be completely redone. The artwork and levels would have to be thrown out and started over. The game itself would want to take advantage of all these new features, so just moving the core gameplay over to something prettier wouldn't be worth the effort either. Considerable effort would be needed to get NS running on HL2. That said, the team is anxiously hoping to work with it, when it's available. We aren't announcing what we're doing with the engine at this time."<!--QuoteEnd--></td></tr></table><span class='postcolor'><!--QuoteEEnd-->

Do u think that Flayra will be bothered?

That review says he wants to but there's little point in just doing a port. It's not a definite yes or no as such and hints that they'll either...
    a) make the sequal to NS instead of a port or
    b) not bother and either not make anything or make an entirely new mod.

course, that's just my own reading into it; the only person who truly knows what Flayra wants to do next is Flayra <!--emo&:)--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/smile.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='smile.gif'><!--endemo-->
