Playin As Aliens...w/o Using Dcs At All!

<div class="IPBDescription">heres a challenge for all u "elite" people</div> I was playin Hera...on a server w/ about...18-20 people on it. We started out by capping hera, then holo....and stopping them from moving further than that. Our 1st hive was data core....

we knew we were gonna kick there ****...so we went w/ MCs 1st. as soon as the 1st mc dropped...someone dropped the vent hive.

after that...SCs....while we still held the rines off w/ just adren gorges.


they relocated to arch after about 25 mins...and then we were stuck <!--emo&;)--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/wink.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='wink.gif'><!--endemo--> w/o the aid of DCs...the oni and fade seemed worthless....until....the gorges/lerks came in <!--emo&:D--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/biggrin.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='biggrin.gif'><!--endemo-->



Ive never seen SO MANY gorges/lerks at one time playing. the oni/fades rushed in there...while the lerks used umbra, while the gorges used healspray. someone setup the arch hive..to revert the turrets shots...and I of course....umbra'd the hive w/ the aid of MCs behind me <!--emo&:D--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/biggrin.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='biggrin.gif'><!--endemo-->


Of course...we DIDNT need the arch hive...cuz as soon as everyone worked together...umbra-ing, and healing...the oni/fades overun the rines...and the lerks spores kept them at low health.

The match ended after about...55-60 mins. <!--emo&???--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/confused.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='confused.gif'><!--endemo-->




The moral is...YOU DONT ALWAYS NEED DCs...BUT IT MAKES IT EXTREMELY EASY TO WIN W/ THEM!

If you think ur all badass and ****...just try playin W/O DCs....its MUCH harder than you think

    I didn't see anything saying "SC IS UBER!!!!11" or "SC IS N00BER!!!!11", just saw that they used Sensories in a game and that they won the game without DCs. You could just as easily interpret that they replaced DC with not Sensory, but MC.

    Actually, they didn't mention anything about sc's helping them win. It seems that mc's were the only chambers they really used in the game.

    SkitZoFrenic: You were doing so well in that game that you probably could have won without using any upgrade chambers until you pinned them in archiving. At that point adrenaline helped with heal-spray and umbra, but you were dominating so much that it didn't really matter. Nobody says that you must use dc's to win. People just think it is easier to win with dc's (not saying I agree or disagree with that).

    DCs are by far more stable, yet scs and mcs can be used with almost equal efficency...

    Your best bet by using else than DCs would be the elemnt of surprise...

    And since it was a chellenge...try fighting skulks with silence and cloaking , with SCs over the whole map...
