I'm still confused of the way it would work. You hear the enemy louder ? Or do you see the messages top left when the commander build something ?

But don't forget scent of fear won't show you a marine coming from behind. Like I said, I'm still not sure what it means. Do you HEAR more ? Or do you just see the messages top left of what the commander is doing ?

In short, I think I would love this upgrade.

basicaly you sen a skulk to ide by their base and he say, well they just droped a PG, find its other end. ONOS HAs/HGS/GLs being spamed!!!!!

After finding out what it is I must say I really like the idea of focus more... You can normally guess what they are building merely from where they are when they are building it (oh a res node! what a surprise! <!--emo&:p--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/tounge.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='tounge.gif'><!--endemo-->)
ie
level 1: hearing
level 2: sof
level 3: hearing and sof
or something to that effect
You could perhaps bring SoF back to only detecting injured players (or perhaps adjusting it so a more injured a player is the easier he is to detect, so you'll need to get really close to healthy players to pick em up, but a 50% hp one you can spot a mile away), and having the enhanced hearing as it is now bundled into a new, renamed, ability... And clearing the way for focus...

Or better yet, makes sensory good enough so that you can build up two hives and go sensory/movement chambers without feeling like a moron for throwing away the game.

I was trying to find out if focus would be combined with enhanced hearing or if it is considered an alternate upgrade alongside enhanced hearing and would "replace" it... However that's all very long and wordy, not to mention grammatically awkward, so I simplified it.
I pray to god this stays in as it would make sensory chambers very viable, and it may even make sensory/movment viable as well, as it could work for gorges (More healspray per spray, combined with adren = A LOTTA LIFE), bigger lifeforms could take down heavy armored marines faster, structures better...
I hope this stays in, for the love of god...

A silenced fade would be very deadly, you would need level 2 armor to prevent a sileneced fade from quickly raping a marine in two swipes. Blink in, two swipes is too fast for most to react nevermind kill you with, then blink out.... I could imagine that. But I'd still take adren <!--emo&:p--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/tounge.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='tounge.gif'><!--endemo-->
Perhaps they should make the ability "Hive sight" that grants the alien with hive sight (under sensory) the power to actually see the parasited marines from their point of view with the press of a button AND any other alien's point of view. It will never get implemented, but I enjoy thinking up unrealistic ideas. <!--emo&:p--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/tounge.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='tounge.gif'><!--endemo-->

That'd be a challenge.
I feel more comfortable with silence still but I think I'll experiment more with superfade so I can actually stop splatting against walls every 5 seconds ^^;

My idea of a fade is; in-slash-out with one dead marine.
