    Easiest is a matter of personal opinion though. Its probably better to try a few, and get a bigger picture.

    no... they dont. different programs. Use milkshape if you are just starting, its best because it helps you understand what you're doing instead of just making splines and not realling getting the vertex alignments and such. so get MS3d and then find some tuts for it.

    and i heard what you said about MS3d but at least learn with it. and you can use it for a month before it expires. so work with it a little bit then try some g-max (gmax is harder to learn)

    MS3d is easy enough to get the basics from, since tutorials are widely available.

    Sadly I hit a brick wall when it came to saving animation and exporting it in MDL format. Bugger that, so hence I use wordpad. I wish more people would learn animating, because it'd mean less frustration for me and less of my "FOR GOODNESS SAKE FIX THIS MODEL SO I CAN ANIMATE IT" posts.

    Sweet. You can do the Ultralisk, Mutalisk and take the snazzy spikey acidrocket from Hyper Geek, remake it so that it doesn't have shadows on the underside, flip it and rotate it and put it on the top of the screen for the Hydralisk to use as the acid rocket animation.

    Or....

    I'll do it in wordpad, after asking in a quickly forgotten thread <!--emo&???--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/confused.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='confused.gif'><!--endemo-->

    Ok, in all honesty I haven't asked yet about the hydralisk, but it's going to happen, because I'm determined to give it an acidrocket. I suppose I'll just use creative cut and pasting combined with whining. Mm.

    *tinkers with the ultralisk <!--emo&:D--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/biggrin.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='biggrin.gif'><!--endemo--> <!--emo&:D--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/biggrin.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='biggrin.gif'><!--endemo--> <!--emo&:D--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/biggrin.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='biggrin.gif'><!--endemo--> *

    Yes! I went through all tuts. When I found the start of the tut too hard I went to the next one, until I found a suiting one. It will take you perhaps some hours, but afterwards you'll now the basics.

    If you cant afford ms3d why not use gmax? Theres a good Gmax tutorial here: <a href='http://ns-m101.dd.vu' target='_blank'>http://ns-m101.dd.vu</a> click "tutorials"
