i tried top convince them to release the mod earlier by claiming i was on my death bed unfortunatly the devs are heartless and saw thru my lies..... darn i check this site 4-5 times a day to see if they released it.

You can label something "almost done" for only so long. The choice of words concerning the readiness of NS might not have been the smartest, especially when you consider that the playtest stories convey the feeling that the game is in a very playable enjoyable state. This is bound to make people wonder why it needs so much more "testing."
I'm certainly not whining about the waiting time, I know how programming works; but perhaps the public image of NS's state of completeness was not very cleverly chosen.
