Glory (re-furbished Area)

Screenshots come in packs of 6!
I re-furbished 3/4 of the anti-matter processing area, and added some acute lighting with some new anti-matter structures. People pointed out the areas were too open and the ceiling on one half needed adding too, aswell as the lighting being drastically changed. So I agree'd and here is the outcome.

layout maybe great
but the overall lightning doesnt give me an NS-map kinda feeling
set the env_gamma lower..

tex usage : -+

I think it looks good except for the lack of some better lightning and maybe more details. Otherwise, I like the blue things (anti-matter?).

first shot has way too much dark and has solid red lighting, but also has good lighting contrast. The rest of the shots don't have any lighting contrast whatsoever, and this to me makes an NS feel more "NSey". I wouldn't overuse red. In patilar, NS isn't about horror, and red seems to scream horror. It's about contrast between light and dark. Try to work on that style.

no one else has mensioned this, so it might be just me, but it seems as though some of those textures are a bit miss-matched. i.e. the floor in pic 2 (and actually, the rest of the flooring i don't really care for either. just the textures mind you). and the far left wall in pic 4.
and yes, i agree. lighting needs some work

Yes the blue things contain anti-matter.
Yeah the lighting has been my main problem through this part of the map, I'm not good at lighting big open areas. Any suggestions (apart from toning the red down a bit)?

[EDIT]
Belgarion: The textures may seem a bit mis-matched, but they fit perfectly well into the theme of the map. Which is a space station with the latest generation structures - brand new just designed, last generation structures - which survived a war with the Karaa and some third generation structures, which are damn old.

texes: well whatever you say. your map. ^_^

light: try putting a bunch of tex-lights on walls near the floor, and then some spotlights farther away from walls to break up the middle. use spot lights to emphasize certain things in a room such as a table, control panel, yadda yadda yadda.

I think lighting is possibly the most fun part of mapping. maybe cuz i think i'm good at it. ^_^

Ok, I done the spot lights thing. I removed a few white ones and added in a couple of blue to give it more of an "Nsey" feel. Problem was the texlights on the floor looked horrible :/ So I'm just sticking to the slightly darker theme.

Edit: Replies with "Poop" or "Secsy" Would be nice.
