Instant Messenger Crashing...

<div class="IPBDescription">Can anyone help?</div> Argh this is so frustrating. When i moved from my old house we switched internet from cable to 56k. Now everytime i try to log on to AIM it doesnt start. If im offline it will come up normally, and I connect to the internet they try to connect to aim from there. It crashes just before starting. But if im online and try it it gives me this error message: AppName: aim.exe AppVer: 0.0.0.0 ModName: ntdll.dll ModVer 5.1.2600.0 Offset: 0000310f. This is extremely aggravating as i cant log on and chat with my friends anymore. Can anyone offer any source of help for this?

Well, I don't know why it would do that, but you could always try reinstalling it. If that still doesn't work, then you could try <a href='http://www.ceruleanstudios.com/downloads/' target='_blank'>Trillian</a>, which is an alternative IM client which combines AIM, IRC, MSN, ICQ and Yahoo Messenger into one program. It would probably work.

but you can also Use ICQ lite to get to AIM stuff (assuming the reinstall don't work)
