I have been told (by animal care people) that thats actualy a bad thing (as there is a decent chance the fuzzy one could bite or claw your snake....

I'm not too sure if snakes eat cold food, preferentially. Also be concerned about the effects on body temperature (and therefore health) of munching cold stuff.
Most "uncoventienal" pets please their owners quite a bit. I used to own a 6 foot long iguana named bowser. Well, only some. You could have like a WatchSnake, and let it outside every night. If some burglar comes to your house, all you will ever know about it is a man-shaped bulge in your snake's stomach the next morning.

if you feed them frozen rats, you actually bake the rat in the oven for a few, to get it warm. but yeah im thinking of knocking the rat out before feeding her, or doing it once in awhile. these smaller rats, she isnt as at risk. she is, but not so much so as with rabbits, and larger rats. im gonna get her use to eating unconscience food as well as live. i think that i can do that. cause it is very dangerous to feed live rats, especially when the prey is larger.
