A movie is a movie, it doesn't have to make sense or be scientifically (physics-wise) accurate. Either you do or don't like a movie, and if you don't, please at least attempt to not rant and rave about every miniscule detail that you think they messed up on.

Movies are there to entertain and break away from mundane, normal life by presenting all sorts of uncommon events and situations.

On a side note, how did a thread that at started out about the soundtrack turn into a rant/rave session about the movie?

In matrix 1 we learn that the mind and body are seperated in the matrix. Severing the connection kills both. Thusly you can't just turn off the matrix and wake everyone up. In matrix reloaded we're told the exact same thing, except this time around it takes about 15 minutes to get to the point.

In matrix 1 we learn that Neo can manipulate the matrix and perform Jesus-feats. Thusly when Trinity is killed in Reloaded, it wasn't much of a surprise that he ressurects her.

Throughout most of matrix 1, we're under the IMPRESSION that neo must still rely on the fact that he's only human, but can manipulate the matrix under dire circumstances. In reloaded, Neo is 100% invincible, invulnerable, and unstoppable. What was the POINT of the kung fu scenes? Is he going to die? He can't die! Captured? He'll just fly away!

In matrix 1 the oracle is completely wrong about Neo being 'the one'. Why would I give a crap what she has to say the second time around?

I must say the Keymaker was an interesting idea. It was a bit like having the encryption key to all the ports in the matrix.  The 'infiltration' and takeover and systematic shutdown of the power grid was also pretty neato, complete with the twist that they all get KILLED.

Now one thing that totally ruins the movie: You have to keep in mind that Neo is a glitch in the matrix: He's a virus, more or less, that is corrupting and changing whatever he wants, twisting the matrix around and through him. He' can manipulate the matrix to perform how he wants whenever he wants. Yet now it's stupid. If he can manipulate the matrix, why the hell didn't he just delete Agent Smith? He can stop bullets with his mind, but he can't stop a god damn door from closing? <!--QuoteEnd--></td></tr></table><span class='postcolor'><!--QuoteEEnd-->
Matrix reloaded has nothing to do about seperating mind and body, since you obviously went in with the idea it was going to suck (and thought the script was bad, lol still can't get over that, and you probably still don't know why) the architect scene which you are so cleverly refering to talks about the need for the programming in the matrix to be reset because of an unbalanced equation that kept producing anomolies that caused people to reject the matrix code ala Neo, Morpheus, Trinity.

Yes we learned neo can preform amazing feats because he is the One, and why would anyone be suprised he saved Trinity, the Oracle said he already made the descion to let the Matrix be destroyed and save Trinity instead, oh you missed that part....I see.

Yes throughout The Matrix Neo is still learning to use his abilities so he is limited to being human, in reloaded he is at the peak of his power and thusly a lot more powerful than he was, but since most of the people he fights in reloaded are programs, how much difficulty he has fighting them is based on how they were coded, since a program can be coded to do things that not even Neo can do so he would have to try a lot harder to defeat it. The point of the Kung Fu scenes is one, they are really cool, two they set up conflict, and three just to **** you off. Neo isn't immortal, after the burly brawl he admits that when Smith was taking him over it felt like dying, so I can't really see your point.

In The Matrix the Oracle was wrong? Gee and here I thought you didn't know what you were talking about. The Oracle told Neo he was waiting for something, for "his next life maybe", did not bother to even give what she said a second thought, oh that's right you don't like to read in between the lines. Neo was waiting for proof the he could really defy the rules of the Matrix and comming back from death is about as definate as you get. Also the Oracle told Neo he would have to trade his life for Morpheus' and that Trinity would fall in love with the One, so as far as I can tell she was 3/3 going into reloaded.

Neo isn't a glitch, he is an anomoly, quite different, and for the last time he is human. The course of his life is a direct result of an unbalanced equation in the Matrix, every time the Matrix got reloaded some of the equation got fixed, Neo was the last reamainder of that equation and therefore the last One, of course you would actually have to read between the lines to understand that. Why can't he delete Agent Smith, last I checked he wasn't a programmer for the Matrix and didn't have access to be able to hard code anything into it, and beside that fact Smith is no longer part of the Matrix so why would he be able to be deleted? Why can't he stop a guy with a sword, because that guy with a sword is preforming random actions that Neo has no forward knowledge of, in case you didn't know bullets travel in a straight trajectory and aren't known for changing course suddenly.

Like I said stop hating. Some movies require thought and all your petty plotholes have already been discussed by fans far more rabid than me.

The Matrix = Mucho Win movie.
The Matrix Reloaded = Slightly less mucho win movie.

I'm personally sick and tired of these "nubcaeks" that are like "omgomg it makes no sense it sucks".

The matrix is say, a "computer network". Neo is doing stuff by "hacking it". Hense he can do somethings, but not others. It's not exactly an exact science, is it?

Just watch it as a movie, and stop overanalysing it, jeeze.
